Responsibilities
Review and monitor work of quality on project sites
Cost Control (where applicable) monitoring and change order administration
Implement project QA/QC plans, Inspection & Test Plan ITP and method statements
Schedule and conduct regular inspections to monitor the progress of site/Contractor work as per defined project specs and quality standards
Issue, follow up and closeout internal non-conformances when are required
Implement timely and appropriate corrective or preventive action and repairs in case of deviations from quality specifications by coordinating, with project construction engineers, Consultant and Sub-Contractors as required
Interpret all project related quality specifications and conduct regular follow ups with contractor for progress quality aspects
Attend project meetings and represent all QA/QC issues and actions
Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks and provide appropriate feedback to the Project managers and project management Consultancy (PMT)
Coordinate closely with the Contractor Team to ensure and maintain content for awareness of Project’s quality management plans accordingly
Ensure appropriate usage and application of the Project Management System (PMS) with respect to entry and analysis of work related data for day to day functioning to facilitate seamless communication of all relevant
Synergize with the project commissioning team to ensure that all projects are carefully commissioned to deliver class standards of quality to the Client
Maintain and update project specific QA/QC templates, metrics and checklists
Prepare various site QA/QC reports as required
Coordinate on a day to day basis with Project Manager and the Construction team to analyze quality reports and ensure compliance with defined standards in all stages of construction
Implement corrective, preventive and defect repair actions as instructed by the QA/QC Manager in case of variations
Evaluate Field Design Changes proposed by contractor
Tie-in interface coordination between Company and relevant parties
Requirements & certificates
Degree in Civil Engineering Technology
At least 15 years work experience in the position of Civil project Engineer / Lead Civil Electrical
At least 5 years work experience in the position as PMC or Consultancy or QA/QC engineer in oil and gas field
Professional membership, if any would be considered additional qualification
