The company has launched its Young Backbone Talent Development Program in April. 9 colleagues from 8 departments were selected into the first phase of the program.
The opening ceremony of phase I was held at Beijing office on April 16th. President Du delivered a speech on the theme "Success is a little better than others" at the opening ceremony. In his speech, President Du shared his personal growth experience, the evolution of Huawei observed and witnessed in the process of personal growth and his understanding of the Huawei spirit behind it, and encouraged everyone to be bold to take responsibility and be diligent in self-improvement. Opportunities will always patronize those who are prepared. Holding long-termism, paying and achieving a bit more everyday at work, life prosperity can be expected.
In the upcoming 9 months, young backbones will complete reading 7 books. The reading list of April is 'THE IRON MAN: Elon Musk's Quest to Forge a Fantastic Future'. President Du presented the books to young talents at the opening ceremony and remarked "The road is objective packed and long. Persist, you will get through", encouraging them to work hard and forge ahead.
